| Study on quantitative risk assessment methods for petrochemical storage devices | Zhang Jingjing, Zhang Lijing, Tao Gang | Three methods for determining the probability of major accidents are proposed: basic failure probability database, accident tree analysis method, and event tree analysis method. The influence of external meteorological conditions and personnel distribution on risk and the determination method are explained. The individual risk superposition model of a device at a point on a plane using the regional grid method and the social risk calculation method are given. Finally, a quantitative risk assessment software for petrochemical storage devices was developed. The software was used to calculate the distribution of personal risks generated by four storage devices in a chemical plant within the plant area.
